Happiness Gift

We are all searching for the diamond happiness in our lives.
Happiness is just a different thought away.
​
​Happiness is many things to different people. Some find happiness is the smallest experiences, others are struggling to find anything to smile about. Even in the roughest of days I believe there is happiness, yes it can be like standing in a dark room searching for our car keys.
In these times you may need to sit for a while and process, the emotions you are feeling before moving forward. Give yourself permission to feel the emotions deep inside of you.
Then set yourself a task to look for the learnings of the experience.

You may like to ask these questions.
Is this experience an event something I can control?
If yes..
Do I want to control?
Do I have the tools to do so?
Do I need to ask for assistance to work through this event?
What actions do I need to take? (smaller the better)
What will this look like in a month>year from now?
 
If the answer is no, you cannot control.
Is it real a no or is it fear driven?
If it is real, am I safe?
Take actions to create safety physically.
Fear is one of the biggest happiness killers, it can suck the life out of any situation.
Ask yourself would others do what I am struggle with, if yes then it may be driven by fear.
What actions can you take to choose change?
Even though you may not be able to control the situation you can still make choices that are for your highest good.
 
Do I need to learn how to embrace this situation?   (CCC, Can Choose Change)
Will this event or feeling matter in a week, month or even a year?
Even though you cannot change others, or some experience we can still choose to change the way we act and feel about the situation.
I don’t mean to suck it up and embrace the situation and wear it like a badge of a victim, gosh no that’s the worst thing. Yes, others will listen to you and some may even encourage your negative behaviour.
Have your say, it`s so important to have a voice but then learn from the lessons and let the story go.
We all know someone who tells a story that’s was years old that they have held onto.
Yes, at time we are a victim of circumstances, but it is our choice to either stay a victim or learn and evolve.
Practising being grateful for the small things in life is a great way to start each day.
​Yes, it sounds cliché I know but true it creates a shift in your mind. You may feel weird at first but hey what do you have to lose.
Make a list of what makes you smile each day.
Make a list of what you see others do that you admire.
Make a list of all of those things you would love to do but are scared to do.
We all have choices in life, some are braver then others to step forward and take them.
 
What would it take for you to be happpppppy?
What do you need to let go of???????
